About Cate

Primal Nutrition & Kitchen Coach
Cate’s commitment to better health began as a quest for personal improvement, but ended as a desire to help others professionally. Following a successful career as a top junior and collegiate golfer, Cate finished her studies in Honors English at Cal State University, Chico and shifted her focus to nutrition. Her enthusiasm for better living, led her to the acclaimed Southwest Institute of Healing Arts where she received her Holistic Nutrition Specialist Certification.

Her experience working in professional kitchens in the U.S. and abroad, as well as her athletic background and unique perspectives on health and wellness, have given Cate a variety of tools to help others effortlessly and effectively achieve their goals. Passionate about the message of improving your life through proper nutrition, Cate enjoys the special connection she shares with others and the life changing impact better health brings.

In addition to owning Cate’s Nutrition Kitchen, she is also the Nutrition and Kitchen Coach for OB Sports Golf Management (Scottsdale), the Staley Performance InstituteThe Raven Golf Club-Phoenix, and Nike Golf Schools and Junior Camps. Cate is also the official “Energy” content provider for The First Tee’s Nine Healthy Habits Program. Her work has been featured on ABC15 News, Golf Digest Magazine, Golf Tips Magazine, Greenskeeper.org, GolfPunk Magazine, Golf Infuzion Magazine, The Arizona Republic, and Your Kid Ate a Divot, by Jeff Ritter. She is also a member of The Weston A. Price Foundation.
