Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is a fermented product made from apples and active yeast. The apples are crushed, releasing natural sugars for the yeast to consume. This process results in high levels of acetic acid, the most beneficial nutrient in ACV. It’s also rich in potassium, magnesium, probiotics and enzymes.
Drinking 1 tablespoon of ACV mixed with 4 ounces of water before meals can help improve digestion, increase nutrient absorption, naturally increase hydrochloric acid, and prevent acid reflux and heartburn. Apple Spice Detox Drink
2 cups water
2 tablespoons raw apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 dash cayenne pepper (optional)
stevia, to taste
- Blend ingredients together and enjoy!
Yields about 1 1/2 cups
3/4 cup olive/avocado oil
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
2 tablespoons raw honey
1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1/4 cup water
- Blend ingredients until smooth. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
