Leptigen Review

I sometimes think that fat burner labels are like reverse mullets: party in the front and business round the back. Slick logos and cut bodies on one side, formula and facts on the other.

Not Leptigen though. That’s all business all the way round. A marketing buzz cut.

We like that though, the less money spent on glitz and glamour the more cash their is to spend on a product that burns fat, boosts energy, and controls appetite as Leptigen claims to do.

Most of the ingredients and their doses are displayed on the label, which is good and studies for each choice are cited on the official website, which is a rare treat.

Looking at it, there are a few concerns however. One of the main ingredients is a small proprietary blend combining two components for a start. Also on the offical website it’s priced at a ridiculous $109.95 for just a month’s supply. Let’s see if it can get anywhere close to justifying that price…

How Does It Work?

At a Glance

  • Meratrim blend to supposedly burn fat
  • Chromium to balance blood sugars
  • Caffiene to raise energy and speen up metabolism
  • Green tea to boost thermogenisis

The Scores

We know that green tea and caffeine are pretty much essentials for an effective fat burner, so it’s good to see them here. Chromium too is useful for balancing blood sugar, but Leptigen is far from perfect. Even though there’s caffeine the dose is a little light. Sure, too much can cause side effects, but too little isn’t going to do much of anything.

Then there’s 400mg of the famous Meratrim, which is totally unconvincing. A short paragraph on the official FAQ page claims good weight loss results in clinical trials, but goes into no detail as far as amounts researched and under what conditions.

Over $100 for any fat burner is pushing it, but for Leptigen it’s ridiculous. We said in the intro this supplement was all business, but based on this price that business is clearly first and foremost making money. Your money.

For this price you could get a much better burner, that will help you lose weight from somewhere other than your pocket. There’s a special membership price of around $80 but that’s hardly much better.

It’s always better to go for a burner with its own testimonal section.

This gives you the chance to look in detail at the product and hear in depth from people who’ve had results. The good news is Leptigen has a testimonal section. The bad news is there’s none of what we just said you should look for.

It’s first names and short paragraphs when we should have full names, start and end stats, photos and videos. Reviews elsewhere are hard to come by, so they’re asking for a lot of trust as well as cash.

Leptigen may not be harmful, but there are many trust issues. The overblown price we’ve covered, we’ve also mentioned the pretty unconvincing testimonals. Add to that a free trial offer which is incredibly difficult to cancel and automatically goes on to charge you for a rolling subscription.

Plus there are the unproven ingredient choices and questionable clinical evidence.

The no frills approach to Leptigen’s packaging is extended to the website, it’s very straightforward and dedicated entirely to this one supplement. We weren’t able to dig up a lot about this company other than people complaining about the free trial which is tricky to cancel and extremely high price. It all smacks slightly of a money making scheme and we’re not impressed.

How Do I Take It?

Users should take 1 capsule twice a day 30 minutes before meals.

This is another disappointment. The truth is a good serving schedule is key to getting the best out of even the highest quality booster. The way your body’s metabolism works means regular top ups of active ingredients to keep them working consistently 2 servings at either end of your day won’t maximise results.

The best way to do that is to look for a burner that suggests 4 servings. That way there’s no drop off in the middle.

Any Leptigen Side Effects?

The one thing we will say is you’re unlikely to experience any side effects. Even though it contains caffeine, it’s less than the amount in one cup of coffee so don’t expect any jitters.

Where Can I Get It?

You can get Leptigen slightly cheaper on Amazon through third party sellers, but the main place it’s for sale is the official website. Like we’ve said it’s $109.95 for a 30 day supply.

Anything Missing?

Apart from an sensible price tag, the makers could have included more thermogenic ingredients to boost the calorie melting effects of green tea. Cayenne pepper somewhere would’ve been ideal.

Also Leptigen appears to rely solely on chromium for appetite support. A fiber rich component that would expand in your stomach and keep you feeling full is always a useful addition.

We see plenty of unimpressive formulas when reviewing burners but not all of them are asking such an extortionate price or have a ‘free trial’ that’s suspiciously tough to cancel.

To save yourself hassle, money and disappointment you should be looking elsewhere.
